STD easy as 1-2-3

So I found this site Vista Print after seeing it mentioned several times in different wedding blogs.  I decided to use their deal of "100 Free Postcards Deal". I designed everything in Microsoft Publisher and saved it as a pdf file.  We wanted something fun, colorful, and informative.  I really wanted a calendar on the STD, as well as a picture of us.  Here is what I came up with...

I also wanted to do envelope liners and came up with this really neat idea of doing a word jumble with words that have to deal with our wedding.  I just copied and pasted about 30 or so words using Microsoft Word.  I used different fonts, font sizes, and font colors for each word or phrase.  I then printed the word jumble. Then, I traced an open envelope onto the word jumble. I then trimmed 1/2" from the bottom of the envelope to make the liner and here's how it came out...

I used permanent double sided tape to adhere the envelope liner to the actual envelope.  Here's how it turned out...

The end ALL, be ALL of recipes...ALLrecipes.com =)

I must say I love allrecipes.com!  It is my go to site for everything cooking and baking.  Although, I am on this dreaded wedding diet (carbs are my enemy), I have found a few healthy recipes on here.  I even submitted two recipes not expecting a good response, but I was surprised in a good way when everybody loved my recipes =)

Here they are...

Jalapeno Garlic Tilapia Pasta
Valerie's Special Sauce

Here are a two pics from All Recipes members (Ayamc and AndrewsCuteCook) of the Jalapeno Garlic Tilapia Pasta they made using my recipe =)

Tutu Recap

I finally was able to give my niece, Olivia, her tutu dress that I made for her several months back.  Of course, she looked cute in it.  I think she gets that from her aunties =P.

Well without further a do, here she is strutting her tutu couture...

After putting the tutu on her, I realized I really should of added more tulle fabric to the bottom part.  I received so many compliments on her tutu dress, that I was determined to do another.  I got my chance to do another tutu dress for my little sister's coworker.  I followed the same instructions as before, but I added a sequin trim to the midsection, which I must say turned out freakin' cute!  I also added about twice the amount of tulle as last time.  Here it is...
